TODAY IS A DAY – Periods are 1, 2, 4 and 6.

ANNOUNCEMENTS – ALL STUDENTS & STAFF
PRINCIPALS MESSAGE
· Central students are going to class on time and working hard in class. Great job. There are less hats, doo rags, electronic devices and cell phones in the building. Keep it up. A gentle reminder that if you are “seen” with these items, you will be asked for them. Also no card playing is allowed. All students must carry their ID cards for security purposes daily. If you do not, you will have a consequence or pay for a new ID, the cost will be $3.
· A reminder to all students: If you can not make your scheduled detention day, speak with you house principal for a Thursday or Friday detention.
· Any student, unless you are in an after school activity or sport, you are to leave the building at dismissal.
· Let’s keep our school clean! Please do not walk around with any food or drink.
· All students, it is through your hard work that will make Central High School one of the best high schools in the state!
· Students and staff: We have a serious problem regarding the traffic gridlock in the morning. Please adhere to the following. All student drivers must come in the entrance behind the stadium, Center Street Ext. Any parent wishing to come that way to help alleviate the problem is welcome. Teachers can come in either location as well. The goal is to make the traffic flow as smooth as possible. Any students being dropped off at the main entrance, please tell your parents not to drive into the inner circle as once before.
· TODAY & MONDAY - ALL PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES: Due to the painting of the gym, please report to Room F111 with the exceptions of periods 4 & 5 which are to report to the balcony.
TEACHERS
· Anyone with a LCD projector borrowed from the library, please stop in the library ASAP with the projector for an inventory check.
· The next meeting for the Faculty Senate will be on Monday, Nov. 6th at 2:40 p.m. in Room F201. On the agenda: Entrance to Lincoln Boulevard, study hall / balcony strategies, new proposal for the daily period schedule and policy for grading with regards to absences. All are welcome and encouraged to come.
· A special note from Ann Trapasso: Thanks to all for the fabulously vibrant pink rose and tiger lily assortment that sang of cheer and good will from a lovely dark basket. (I do so love bright flowers in dark baskets.) Their arrival was perfectly timed for my complete appreciation as it was a week post surgery and I am doing very well. My task now is to get myself back in shape, which means working on the mobility and flexibility of my upper body-a process that is new for me. I feel so great having no other treatment of any kind (well except for medication) ahead of me. This knowledge brings such a profound sense of freedom. I love it. I will be seeing you all sometime after Thanksgiving, depending upon how my “rehab” goes. I wish you all well as you end up this quarter and start a new one. Thanks so much for all of your prayers, support and thoughts. Gratefully, Ann Trapasso.
